In LBD! kareena Kapoor.

They say, ask and you shall receive!

Ever since I started this blog, my biggest grief with Bollywood actresses was their obsession with poker straight hair (save for Sonam, Kangna and Neha) with Kareena leading the pack. At the Ra. One bash, Kareena changed it up a bit, in a black wrap dress which she paired with nude Choo and wavy locks.

I think she looked good, if only this phase lasts!

Stellar Street Style! Emmanuelle Alt.

Excuse me while I take a moment to gush over the downtown chic queen and one my fashion icon amongst the current fashion frat- Emmanuelle Alt!

I love the effortless chic and easy confidence displayed by Ms. Alt, the signature denims and tucked in cuffed shirt and black heels.

This must be what they meant when they said clothes don't make a person and it’s the other way around. la Alt rocks!

Red Hot! Deepika Padukone on the sets of KBC 5.

A stunning Deepika Padukone was in appearance at the KBC sets, dressed in a red Anamika Khanna anarkali. Deepika really seems to be changing it up fashion wise lately, opting to wear more eye catching looks than usual.

I love the red suit on her, with pulled back hair, drop gold earrings to match the gold hem and a bindi - she is FAB for me!

Who wore it better? Molly Sims vs. Rachel Bilson.

Molly Sims attended the Premiere of Rise of the Planets of the Alps last week, dressed in a blush dress and coral jacket.

The look instantly reminded me of Rachel Bilson's look a few months back, in a Coral Vanessa Bruno jacket and blush dress which she paired with nude heels.

The looks were almost identical; both accessorised with gold neck pieces, the silhouettes of the dresses were similar and nude heels.

Do you have a favourite of the two?

Sonam Kapoor at Inauguration of IIJW 2011.

A very regal looking Sonam Kapoor kick started the India International Jewellery Week today.

Sonam wore a soft pale blue Manish Malhotra sari and accessorised with Amrapali jewellery, channelling serious retro - royal vibes.

I love how the look was styled, and that she stayed from the usual, sheer, blingy sari and Bollywood drape. The elbow length frill sleeve and loose curls brought back bygone Bollywood glam, very Waheeda Rahman -like.

BIG LOVE.

Angelina Jolie - at Sarajevo Film Festival 2011.

Angelina Jolie attended the Sarajevo Film Festival on Saturday in Bosnia.

She wore a coral Elie Saab gown, belted at the waist and paired it with Jimmy Choo heels. The silhouette is something that we have seen her do before, one which works well on her.

Bollywood clutch tales!

Wow! The India Fashion Inc. truly loves their Bottega Venetas and McQueen clutches don't they.

Check out 'em sightings in the last week.

Quite a line up, isn't it!

Birthday Brigade! Amrita, Kangna & Malaika at Arpita Khan's Birthday Bash.

Fashion frat seemed to have showed up in galore at Arpita's birthday bash.

Malaika turned up in a blue mini and turned up diva heat, the watercolor print strapless dress wasn't the finest that we have seen Malaika in. Kangna wore a silver satin skirt and same tone drape top (dang! no better pics to take a closer dekho at the clutch). Amrita's look's highlight was the statement belt, belted on the neutral dress, which she paired with leopard peep toes.

P S: The Arora Sisters are wearing Jimmy Choos.

In Lanvin - Julianne Moore

Lanvin's poster gal Julianne Moore made two appearances this week in her favoured label.

The first appearance was an tier illusion dress in neutral, which she paired with studded Marni bag and Alexander Wang heels. Last night, Ms. Moore attended 'Tonight with Jay Leno' dresseD in a Lanvin embellished top and black denims.

I love that she changes it up!

In James Ferreria! Simone Singh.

Simone attended the Vogue Beauty Awards dressed in a very signature Simone style.

A draped blush pink gown with light ruched details and a front slit. paired with gold accessories. Kudos for Simone for always changing it up, and making a style quote ' drape is the new fitted' look true.

LIKE.

Metallic Fixation - Dia Mirza.

It was two metallic based looks back to back for Dia Mirza in the week that went past.

At the IIFA Dubai special screening, Dia wore a sequinned dress, with a relaxed silhouette and looked fabulous (although we couldn't find full length pics). For the Vogue Beauty Awards, it was sleeveless fitted dress with sequin bust details and a bandaged skirt for her.

The Vogue look was completed by black sling back pumps and a chain detail bag.

In Juan Carlos Obando! Freida Pinto.

Freida Pinto joined the growing list of celebs that have been sporting Juan Carlos Obando.

She walked the red carpet of the 'Rise of the Planet of the Alps' premiere dressed in a jade green asymmetrical gown which she paired with nude pumps and deep berry lips.

I'm not too sure of the lip color on Freida, a coral or lighter shade of orange would have been more appropriate for the look, I feel. Apart from that, how fierce does she look!

Red Hot and Smoking! Miranda Kerr.

A very stunning Miranda Kerr attended David Jones event in a traffic stopping red dress.

The LOVER Fall 2011 dress had all the makings of a show stopper, the nude illusion, with draped skirt made the super model look FAB. RED HOT.

Kanishta Dhankar at Vogue Beauty Awards.

Miss India Kanishta seems to be getting better with each appearance of hers.

Attending the Vogue Beauty awards, Ms.Dhanker wore a printed James Ferreira gown with asymmetrical hem and draped train detail. A tricky silhouette to carry off I agree, but carry it off she did.

I would have liked a stronger pair of heels, but as the way she wore it, she still looked great.

FAB! Madhuri Dixit at Vogue Beauty Awards!

The beautiful actress finally decided to call it a day (forever we hope?) with badly styled hair and blingy traditional, and I'm rubbing my hands with glee.

The actress wore a black drape gown with plunging neck and back (in relative, Madhuri terms) but what really made this whole look work for me was her styling. One known to accessorise with a heavy hand, there is great restraint in this look; the drop earrings and one sided up do lending sophistication and elegance.

FAB!

Anushka Sharma in Stella McCartney at Vogue Beauty Awards.

Anushka Sharma brought her A game to the Vogue Beauty Awards last night, in Mumbai.

Dressed in a pale blue Stella McCartney jumpsuit with a slit, Anushka worked the look, on someone else the look would have been way too simple, but her pairing of the feminine colored suit with multi stranded heels and nude clutch worked well on her, after all very few like her does minimalistic well in Bollywood.

Masaba Gupta at Lakme Fashion Week Bash.

Masaba attended the LFW bash dressed in a mocha tone dress, which she paired with tan bow pumps and carried a blue Bottega clutch.

I like the idea of the contrasting color clutch, but the coral lips and dark tan heels didn't work for me. Masaba could do so much better.

Who wore it better? Nishka Lulla vs. Madhu Shah.

At the Lakme Fashion Week Bash, it was LBDs for both Nishka and Madhu.

Wasn't really a fan of either looks/dresses, Nishka's dress seemed very All Saints -esque - but failed to make the cut, the overload of accessories - bracelets, cuff and a neckpiece didn't help the case either.

Madhu's shirt dress inspired dress, neckpiece and nude clutch didn't rise beyond meh, the styling had nothing great to write home about going for it.

Très chic! Rachel Weisz.

Welcome back Rachel Weisz!

Being married obviously work for Ms.Weisz's sartorial choices, if her last two looks were anything to go by.

Rachel looked stunning at the 'Whistle Blower' promotion in a Red Valentino dress with ribbon details on the shoulders, paired with nude pumps. The second look was in See by Chloe, the nude tone dress with white horizontal lines lending a very chic and stylish air, which was completed by leopard print pumps and aviators.

Do you have a favourite?

Changing it Up! Parvathy Omanakuttan.

Parvathy has often given us looks that raised questions on her style choices in the past, but must say that I'm singing a different tune today.

The former Miss. India attended the Lakme Fashion Week Bash. The abstract print dress with structured shoulders worked well on her, and the pairing of red lips were most certainly a right step in fashion direction. Small gripe on the hair (imagine pulled back hair with those shoulders and crimson lips) and the Mary Jane inspired two toned heels.

Having said that, I think she still looked great.

Jumpsuit FAB! Olivia Wilde.

Olivia Wilde has been on a roll lately, hasn't she!

Attending the Nylon event, Ms.Wilde worked the daylights out of the Armani jumpsuit (very jodhpur, don't you agree) which she paired with lace Louboutins.

I haven't a thing to say except FAB!

Channelling Carrie! - Sarah Jessica Parker.

SJP is touring Asia and is turning out one fashion fabulous look after the other.

Although I refrain from connecting her very famous TV character persona to her looks, this instance, Carrie Bradshaw came to mind the instant I saw this pic.

Sarah looked fabulous in this purple crinkled dress by Mary McFadden and black heels by Roger Vivier. At first I wasn't sold on the shoes, but it kind of grew on me gradually. Waves and voluminous hair seems to be the hair style that she seems to have chosen for this tour.

Needless to say, Its a FAB for me.

Wearing White! Mila Kunis.

Mila Kunis kicked off her Moscow promotions of her upcoming movie ' Friends with Benefits' with some serious White power.

For both photo call and premiere, Mila opted to wear white dresses, albeit very different styles. Her look at the première of the movie was soft and whimsical in Elie Saab Fall 2011 dress, with shoulder embellishments and a nude panelling in the front. Stacked headbands and white stilettos by Brian Atwood completed the look.

The second look was a structured Louis Vuitton Resort cotton dress with pique details and flared hem, which she paired with blue sequin pumps by Lanvin. I wasn't sure of the color, but I understood Mila's decision to bring color into the look.

Methinks she worked both the looks. You?
